2023 JANUARY HAZELNUT MARKET REPORT
Compared to the previous season, exports were 19.13% less on a quantity basis. Exports, which startedthe season with 5.97 USD/kg, remained at the same levels for a long time. After November 16, it reached the level of 6.82 USD/kg without slowing down. As a result of our research, we see a high probability of an export increase of at least 10%.
2022 DECEMBER HAZELNUT MARKET REPORT
TMO purchased more than 180.000tons of hazelnuts so far (including crop 2021) and their purchases will continue till the end of December. In the season that started on August 22, we foresee that 85% of hazelnuts from the farmers have been on the market as of today.

2022 JULY HAZELNUT MARKET REPORT
Regarding crop 2022, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry declared their crop estimation as 765.287 tons and Black Sea Exporters’ Union declared as 830.628 tons. We expect that government also will declare their new crop purchase price within this week. Price expectation from government is USD 3/kg as equivalent.

2022 FEBRUARY HAZELNUT INTERIM MARKET REPORT
Turkish Grain Board (TMO) announced that they will sell 20.000 tons of inshell hazelnuts from their stocks that crop 2021 (17.000 kgs Levant quality and 3.000 kgs Giresun quality). The price for Giresun and Levant quality inshell hazelnuts has been determined as TL 39/kg.
2022 JANUARY HAZELNUT MARKET REPORT
TMO stopped its purchases as of the end of December. In total, they purchased around 70.000tons of in-shell hazelnuts. TL/USD rate moved in a very volatile structure in December. If certain stability is achieved in the parity, we predict that prices will be in the range of 6000-6500 USD/Ton.
2021 OCTOBER HAZELNUT MARKET REPORT
TMO bought around 40.000tons of in-shell hazelnuts at the end of September. It is expected that TMO will purchase 80.000 tons of hazelnuts by the end of October. If the TL/USD parity continues at these levels, it seems highly likely that prices will increase in both TL and USD terms in October.
