As of 05.05.2019, we exported 213.406 tons of hazelnut, in 2016/2017 season same time export was 218.611 tons, in 2015/2016 season same time export was 176.954 tons, as it can be seen in the graphic.
In the beginning of April, prices natural hazelnut 11-13mm started at the level of 6.830 USD/tons (6.080 Euro/tons), Today 11-13mm Natural hazelnut kernels prices DDU Europa delivery 6.280 USD/Tons (5.610 Euro/tons) levels.
TMO general manager has declared to public 6th of May that 38.000tons in shell hazelnut remain in their stock and selling will continuous during May at TL 15,00/kg
Developments in 2019 crop hazelnut are generally good, but development is 2 weeks behind last season, indicating that the first crop will be placed towards the end of August. Various non-governmental organizations and exporting companies will start 1st crop counting this week and the first yield expectations will emerge at the end of May.
