As of 24.07.2022, we exported 317.726 tons of hazelnut. In the 2020/2021 season, the same time export was 269.068 tons, in the 2019/2020 season same time export was 332.304 tons, as can be seen in the graphic. On 23.08.2021, crop 2021 prices for 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernels started at the level of 6.680 USD/tons (5.720 Euro/tons). Today, 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernel prices for DDU Europe delivery are 5.690 USD/Tons (5.578 Euro/tons) levels.
Regarding crop 2022, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry declared their crop estimation as 765.287 tons and Black Sea Exporters’ Union declared as 830.628 tons. We expect that government also will declare their new crop purchase price within this week. Price expectation from government is USD 3/kg as equivalent.
