As of 08.02.2021, we exported 139.713 tons of hazelnut, in 2019/2020 season same time export was 202.249 tons, in 2018/2019 season same time export was 151.145 tons, as it can be seen in the graphic.
17th of August 2020, prices natural hazelnut 11-13mm started at the level of 6.630 USD/tons (5.600 Euro/tons), Today 11-13mm Natural hazelnut kernels prices DDU Europa delivery 6.980 USD/Tons (5.800 Euro/tons) levels. The highest price of the season, 11-13 mm kernel hazelnut kernels may rise again to USD 7.120/tons (6.080 Euro/tons) DDU European level. The main reason for this can be said to be the appreciation of the Turkish lira, the warmer weather conditions than the seasonal average, and the increased concerns of a frost risk in March and April.
The 2021 crop pollination flower is largely complete. Companies and institutions that estimate the yield from flower count will carry out counting in the orchard from February 10 until the end of February. According to the flower count at the beginning of March, yield estimates will be determined.
