As of 30.09.2021, we exported 30.528 tons of hazelnut. In the 2020/2021 season, the same time export was 43.195 tons, in 2019/2020 season same time export was 34.734 tons, as can be seen in the graphic. On 23.08.2020, crop 2021 prices for 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernels started at the level of 6.680 USD/tons (5.720 Euro/tons). Today, 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernel prices for DDU Europe delivery is 6.160 USD/Tons (5,310 Euro/tons) levels.
TMO bought around 40.000tons of in-shell hazelnuts at the end of September. It is expected that TMO will purchase 80.000 tons of hazelnuts by the end of October. If the TL/USD parity continues at these levels, it seems highly likely that prices will increase in both TL and USD terms in October.
