As of 31.10.2019, we exported 99.987 tons of hazelnut, in 2018/2019 season same time export was 58.286 tons, in 2017/2018 season same time export was 62.570 tons, as it can be seen in the graphic. 15th of August 2019, prices natural hazelnut 11-13mm started at the level of 6.490 USD/tons (5.850 Euro/tons), Today 11-13mm Natural hazelnut kernels prices DDU Europa delivery 6.840 USD/Tons (6.130 Euro/tons) levels.
As the end of September, 350.000.- tons of crop 2019 hazelnuts were registered in stock changes. We expect that this number will be 570.000.- tons in the end of November. TMO has purchased 75.000 tons inshell hazelnut up to now. Since the free market prices are higher than TMO prices, farmers stop to sell their hazelnuts to TMO.
